I. Objective of the consultant:
To provide editing services for ILO technical reports in Vietnam. The services will be provided from 20 February to 30 April 2019.
II. Tasks:
Edit technical reports for publication according to the ILO editing style, including spelling, grammar and flow.
- Product 1: Social impacts of social pensions in Vietnam (41 pages)
- Product 2: Assessing the Potential for Multi-Tiered Child Benefits in Vietnam (90 pages).
III. Outputs:
- Final edited version of Product 1
- Final edited version of Product 2
IV. Contract Duration:
Start of the External Collaboration: 20 February 2019 End of the External Collaboration: 30 April 2019
V. Amount of the Contract:
Total contract cost: number of pages x fee per page
VI. Payment:
- First payment will be paid upon delivered of Product 1 to the satisfaction of the ILO.
- Second payment will be paid upon delivered of Product 2 to the satisfaction of the ILO.
VII. Contract conditions:
The external collaborator will work under the general coordination of the ILO Technical Officer on Social Protection and the National Programme Office in ILO Vietnam. The external collaborator will not represent the ILO in any official ceremony.
VIII. Attestation for having adequate medical and accident insurance
The consultant (hereinafter referred as “External Collaborator”) must be aware that the ILO accepts no liability in the event of death, injury, or illness of the External Collaborator. The External Collaborator must attest that he/she is adequately covered by insurance for these risks. In no circumstances shall the External Collaborator be covered by any ILO insurance. It is the External Collaborator’s own responsibility to take out, at their own expense, any personal insurance policies that are considered necessary, including a civil liability insurance policy.
